Organisations that we can assist

As we want to help sports at grassroots level, those most in need, you will need to check our criteria below of whom we can assist and we will check your financial accounts to review before we can take an organisation on as a client.

Organisations we CAN assist:

• Small sports organisations/clubs that are Incorporated Societies or Charitable Trusts
• Small regional organisations with no staff
  
• Organisations must have "Pokie" Trusts within their district, that they do not currently apply to for other grants.  Where organisations already apply to the Trusts within their area, we will be unable to assist them if there are no other Trusts to apply to.

Organisations we are UNABLE to assist:

• National Organisations
• Medium to large Regional Organisations
• Organisations with multiple staff
  • ​​​​​​​We believe larger organisations either have the resources to obtain their own funding or currently do obtain funding and but want further funding, so assisting these types of organisations limits our ability to support smaller organisations.
    
• Organisations with a bank balance over $150,000
  • ​​​​​​​Where organisations have significant funds held in reserve, we do not believe they are in need of grants compared to small organisations with no significant funds in reserve, or no funds at all, our preference is always to support those organisations most in need.
    
• Organisations within the Auckland Area
  
  • ​​​​​​​Organisations within the Auckland Area have difficult Trust boundaries for us to work with so we have low success rates in that region so we prefer to spend our limited time available on supporting smaller organisations from other regions that do not have the resources or skills to obtain funding grants and where we no we can prove to be of more assistance.
